RetroShare is an encrypted messenger. The previous logo of the open source project was very cluttered, but featured the central idea of multiple orbs being connected via lines; most notably three orbs in green, blue, and orange, aligned in the middle of the logo, forming a triangle. This idea was taken up for the simplified new logo. The gradients provide a sense of motion and direction; the slight tilt renders the logo more dynamic and upwards-bound.
The Andco logo is not for any existing company, but rather a personal exercise in geometrical logo design. The logo, derived from four circles and one line, forms the abbreviation of »and company«, »&co«, or pronounced: »Andco«.
Logo »Urheberrechtsdialog der Piratenpartei Deutschland«
The »Urheberrechtsdialog der Piratenpartei Deutschland« (copyright podium of the Pirate Party Germany) was a series of events bringing together creatives, corporations and consumers to discuss the current state of copyright laws and how they could be made fit for the challenges of the digital area. The logo incorporates both the sail emblem of the Pirate Party movement and a copyright sign, although the copyright sign is opened to another C shape, insinuating the Creative Commons logo. The three open circles are also symbolizing two rows of seats and a podium. The chosen colours are those of the Pirate Party Germany.
